Ms. Traci Morales
I am so grateful to be spending the first official year of my teaching career at Carey School!
I grew up in a small town in the central valley of California and moved to Hailey during my sophomore year of high school. After graduating from WRHS, I ended up pursuing both my undergrad and graduate degrees through online universities. I was lucky enough to have one of my favorite former English teachers as my mentor for student teaching.
Outside of the classroom, I spend my time reading, swing dancing, singing, crafting, and competing in pub trivia with my friends. My only roommate is my orange and white cat, Tilly, who is equal parts cuddly and rambunctious.
English is (in my humble opinion) the best subject to teach because of the meaningful conversations I'm able to participate in with students. They each bring a unique perspective to the topics we discuss, and I love providing them with opportunities to express themselves through the written and spoken word.
